Interview from danish Ude og Hjemme 26. Feb. 1997 by Sara Blaedel:
The model from the 80s has become a grown woman at 31 years. She is a mum for 2 wonderful kids, Ulrikke 3 years and Jens Kristian 1 1/2 years.
A while ago Renee moved from the childrens dad, Kristian Sandvad, and moved from the house in Copenhagen to a big box in Arhus. Other than being a mum Renee also studies psykology and is a part-time model. She is also a editor at a fashion-magazine, which she is very happy for. Earlier she has applyed to study journalistics - without luck.

1: If you had to change your job - what would be your dream-job then?
Oh, I wanted to be a director in a big business. Well, maybe not that. But I wanted to be a business-woman. I like to buy and sell. Trading in every way.
2: If you got 1 million, what would you use it for then?
I already have that, but anyway... I proberly did not wanted to use it. Maybe I would buy something for my kids. But I am so lucky, that if I want to go traveling with them, then I can just do it. I can do almost everything I want to.
3: Do you believe in horoscopes and which sign do you have?
I read horoscops only because I think they are funny. But I do not believe in them. I was born the 12. of May so that means I am a bull - and that is a good sign.
4: What do you think when you hear the word "romance"?
Beeing in love, heartbeats, butterflies in the stomach and a lot of feelings.
5: Which person or which experience has done a big impression on you?
My 2 pregnacies and births and then it must be when I have been in love.
6: If you really want to relax, what do you do then?
Then I rent a couple of movies, put the kids to bed, light some candlelights and fire in the fireplace and then I will lay on the sofa in front of the tv.
7: Who is your best friend and what do you do when you are together?
I have more really good friends. But one of them I have known for 20 years. We are just like an old married couple. We do not need to do anything to have a good time together.
8: What do you do on your birthday?
I have started to celebrate it at the same time as my dads birthday. He has birthday the day before me and this year he will celebrate his 50. years birthday for the 5th time. Then all the family will get together at his place in Thy.
9: What is your favorite-drink?
I like Coca-Cola.
10: Where do you buy your clothes?
I do not buy my clothes at special places. It is very different where I find it.
11: What is your best holiday-experience?
I had a very good holiday with my family on Crete. We traveled 10 people together and it was great.
12: Who would you call in the middle of the night 3 o'clock if you feel sad?
It would be my family. My older sister Heidi or my younger sister Iben.
13: What is your worst habit?
That I smoke. I have thought about to quit smoking - not for my own sake but for my kids.
14: What can make you happy?
My 2 kids and my family. They does not have to do anything special. But I also get happy if someone does something for me that I did not expect.
15: Do you remember your first kiss?
Yes, of course. It was in one of the small grades in the school. My friend and I both had a boyfriend in the school, and one day we decided that we wanted to try to kiss them. I went downstairs with my boyfriend and she stayed upstairs with her boyfriend. After that we got together to talk about the big experience. But she did not do it at all! But I kept my part of the deal.
16: Do you believe in love at first sight?
I do believe in love at first sight.
