"What makes a good career is individual. It depends very much on your values. For me it is important that I do something I like. I would therefore recommend that you choose with your heart instead of your common sense. Career development is basically about uncovering your resources - developing the strong points without ignoring the weak. At one point you perhaps feel in your tummy that you don't feel good on your job any longer. That you're not happy. And then it is time to move on. I experienced this tummy feeling after 7 years in the international modelling business. I therefore stopped and returned to Denmark to get educated - first of all get a high school exam and then graduate in psychology. After that I have again stopped and felt what my tummy feeling told me. The answer was that full-time work and three small children did not harmonize that well, and at the same time I carried around some thoughts and ideas that were burning to get out. I have therefore started writing, amongst other things children's books, articles and columns in various magazines."
